Just when I thought I was ready to leave the SC, the people I was subletting to never showed up. I stayed here last night and have been frantically running around and making phone calls today to try and get people to sublet. My parents moved all of my stuff home so I was left in State College with my MacBook, cell phone, shirt on my back, tooth brush, and Bible.
I think I will have to stay another night just get things hammered out with the lease, keys, and money…Today is Nori’s 21st birthday so I think we are going out to eat and then I am hitting up the Cell Block for some dancing (shady, I know) with some friends. It should be a good last, last night in State College.
San Francisco is going to be amazing, but part of me really wishes I was staying here in SC this summer. State College, in the summer, is probably one of my favorite places to be. It is truly amazing. I suggest you spend at least one summer in town.
It’s funny how earlier in the year I thought I had everything figured out. I was going to stay in State College and take classes, go to camp with the YL kids, work at Lake Champion for a month, spend some quality time with people who mean a ton to me, lay in the grass and soak up the sun…..and now I am headed cross country to a city I barely know, to spend 3 months in tight quarters with 9 interns from around the country (whom I don’t know), and share Christ in any way with everyone I come into contact with.
It’s funny how scary the unknown can be. Yes, I am quite excited for Cali, but I am also scared out of my mind…

Matt, apparently I haven’t checked your blog as often as I need to. You’ll be in San Fran this summer? Amazing! I’ll definitely be coming up to visit at some point if that’s cool, and hopefully you can make it down again, too!
