San Francisco was amazing! We had a blast traipsing all over the town. We got to check out those crazy steep and crooked streets…very cool stuff! Breakfast at a sweet coffee shop…the Chestnut Street Coffee Roastery. It was like Saints in SC but a big larger/less cramped. Then, we drove down those streets a bunch of times…sounds dumb but you have to be there. Definitely a ton of fun.
We ate lunch downtown at Noah’s New York Bagels….Cinnamon/sugar bagel with turkey (sandwich)…possibly the greatest sandwich ever! Then we traipsed around town in the mini-van checking out the sites. We went to the Haight/ Ashbury district…the home of the Summer of Love. Then, the highlight of the whole trip…we went to the Alamo Park on Steiner street….which, for those of you that aren’t San Francisco natives….is where the house from the show Full House is located. It was the culmination of about 20 years of anticipation. We hung out around the neighborhood and took pictures in front of the exact house. Needless to say, we seized the day.
We went to the CSM house hoping I could get an interview but alas, no avail…they were closed. Hopefully I can get an interview in Philly when we get back to school.
The Golden Gate was beautiful at sunset. Words cannot truly express the magnitude of that bridge and the view of the bay. San Fran is definitely my favorite city of all time.
